Ingredients:
- 1 medium-sized cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3-4 green chillies, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the chopped onions and green chillies and sauté until the onions turn translucent.
- Add the chopped cabbage and mix well.
- Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Cover the pan with a lid and let the cabbage cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the cabbage is tender, add the garam masala powder and mix well.
- Let the cabbage cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and transfer the Village Style Chilli Kobi to a serving bowl.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves, if desired.
