• 1 kg boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Wooden skewers

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken pieces, yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, paprika, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  2. Soak the wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes before using them to prevent them from burning.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. If using an oven, arrange the skewers on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce. Enjoy your delicious chicken tikka!
