  • 1 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 tsp. coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala
  • 1 tsp. salt

  • Lemon wedges and chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and use your hands to coat them evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  4. Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade and shake off any excess. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake the chicken thighs in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reads 165°F (74°C) on a meat thermometer.
  6. Optional: For a smoky flavor, you can also grill the chicken thighs over a charcoal grill or use a stovetop grill pan.
  7. Garnish the tandoori chicken with lemon wedges and chopped cilantro. Serve hot with naan bread or rice.
